This event will be held at Mariner HS in Everett. Our Keynote Speaker Dr. Wayne Au, is a Professor in the School of Educational Studies at the University of Washington Bothell and is an editor with the social justice teaching magazine, Rethinking School. His research focuses on multicultural, anti-racist education, teaching for social justice, and curriculum studies. Workshops topics include (but not limited to): Culturally Responsive Strategies: Classroom Communities, Implicit Bias and Micro-aggressions, White Privilege, Ethnic Studies, Gender and Sexual Identities
