2010-11 Salary Allocation Model, SAM: State base salaries, revised after 2010 Legislative session
Notes: The certificated salary schedule applies to base salaries for 283 public school districts in Washington state. The remaining 12 public school districts receive somewhat higher allocations for teacher pay because those districts were "grandfathered" in at a higher base salary. The schedule represents the allocation of state funds. Actual salaries are determined in negotiations between your WEA local association and the individual school district.
