When we take action together, we have the strength to make the changes our students need. That’s why WEA-PAC is so important. It’s how we unite to support pro-labor, pro-education candidates to ensure our voices are heard in elected bodies. Now we’re coming together to grow our strength and raise funds to support our endorsed candidates.
Our last legislative session shows the power we can build when we stand together. Last fall we worked to elect pro-labor, pro-education candidates and it resulted in having more supportive legislators who understand what our students need. It made it possible for our state legislature to improve equity and anti-racism training, to eliminate the edTPA requirement, and to fund more nurses and counselors.
