Lunar New Year is one of the most important and largest cultural celebrations among East and Southeast Asian communities. In China, Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, celebrates the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar calendar and is observed for 15 days marked with themes of reunion and hope, family and food. Lunar New Year celebrations include Tết in Vietnam and Seollal in Korea.
