Multi-Tiered Systems of Support

Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) is a the name of a comprehensive educational approach that focuses on prevention and problem solving for all students. When properly developed and implemented, MTSS connects school and community resources to help eliminate barriers to learning and teaching. It is based on three levels of support: best practices to support all students’ learning, strategies for those who need more help to succeed, and a higher level of intervention for the small number of students who need the most help.

You can learn more at OSPI’s page about MTSS

OSPI sponsors webinars once a month, and you can join them by signing up for their MTSS District Leader PLC list, by emailing OSPI.
