During this workshop, Education Staff Associates (ESAs) - school counselors, psychologists, social workers, speech/language pathologists, OT/PTs and nurses - learn about current certification requirements. During this workshop, participants do the following:
• Become familiar with recent policy changes affecting each of the ESA certification groups
• Learn about the National Board Certification process as it relates to ESAs
• Explore new certification renewal requirements for ESAs, including the suicide prevention requirement
