In this course, participants practice neuro-centric strategies that build student confidence and promote trust. Multiple co-regulation and self-regulation strategies that lead to strong relationships between students and teachers and para-educators, as well as among students and their peers, are discussed. These strategies help grow strong, caring and supportive relationships with students who are dysregulated. The foundations of neuroscience in learning are woven throughout the course as participants explore innovative instructional strategies and why they work.
