Abstract:
Climate change is happening everywhere, but is not affecting the world’s peoples in a single way. Social inequalities mean the climate emergency’s effects are also unequal.
Objectives:
This workshop will help participants understand that climate change, which is often described in terms that are universal and global — it is, after all, happening everywhere, is experienced differently by different groups. For some, climate change threatens to force them to leave their land. For others, it is a business opportunity.
