Cross Cultural Competency Courageous Conversations Across Accomplices

Cross Cultural Competency means raising one’s awareness, knowledge, skills and advocacy for the purpose of increasing our effectiveness in anti-racism work across our differences. Sometimes, those differences can create misunderstanding that can lead to cross-cultural conflicts, bias, microaggressions and moments of oppression even among accomplices in the work.
This session will help us develop a conflict resolution strategy while unpacking the challenges of conflicts across cultures (including educator of color to educator of color) especially when perspectives, experiences and solutions differ from one social group to another.
