WEA-Chinook Retired
Chinook retirees usually meet the first Tuesday of the month except as noted in June. There is a speaker of interest each month, and lunch is provided. Friends & spouses are welcome.

WEA-Eastern Retired
The luncheons are at the WEA-Eastern WA/Spokane council office, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and usually on the first Monday of the month.

WEA Fourth Corner Retired
Gatherings held on the last Tuesday of every month, September through May at 11:30 a.m. RSVP at least 24 hours before the lunch to Mary Lindsey at 360-739-6464. Feel free to include another retiree.

Kent Retired

WEA MidState Retired
May 7  

We will meet at noon at the WEA MidState Office for lunch and a short business meeting to decide meeting dates and topics for 2019-20. At 1 p.m. we will travel to YWCA Yakima: 818 W. Yakima Avenue, for a 1:30 p.m. tour of the facility, which provides a safe and nurturing place where they empower victims of domestic violence to become self-reliant survivors. The tour will last approximately 30 minutes. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by May 3.

All meetings will begin at 12 p.m. and last until 1 or 1:30 p.m. at the WEA MidState Office in Yakima, 711 N. Keys Road.

WEA Olympic Retired
Luncheons are sponsored by WEA-Retired but you don't have to be a WEA-R member to come to the luncheon. Please feel free to invite others. All luncheons are at Round Table Pizza in Silverdale, 3276 NW Plaza Rd. 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Lunch will be at your own expense. Please order from the front counter when you arrive.

Upcoming date: April 22

Each meeting we will have a book exchange and we will collect food for one of the local food banks.

We will be giving updates about the advocacy WEA is doing to better the lives of the retirees in our State.  

There will be door prizes and tasty treats.

Pilchuck Retired
Pilchuck retirees meet the second Tuesday of each month. Lunch is provided. A speaker of interest or activity is scheduled for every lunch.

May 23: Retirement tea reception at 4 p.m. (designed for retirees from Soundview Council locals to introduce the WEA-Retired Soundview Chapter and opportunities after retirement.) Soundview UniServ Council office, 6132 Motor Ave. S.W., Lakewood.

June 14: Legislative update and history of Old Glory Presentation by Sons of the American Revolution. Soundview UniServ Council office, 6132 Motor Ave. S.W., Lakewood, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Spokane Retired
The luncheons are at the WEA-Eastern WA/Spokane council office, 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m. and usually on the first Monday of the month.

April 12, 11 a.m. Speaker will be an attorney from the Pierce County Bar Association about senior law. Meeting location: Tacoma UniServ Office: 3049 S. 36th St., Ste. 300, Tacoma.

May 17, time TBD. Field Trip / Tacoma Art Museum. More information will be sent at a later date.
