It’s that time of year again: Teacher Appreciation Day! It only comes around once a year but we know educators work tirelessly every day to ensure students are learning, happy and cared for. Thank you for your amazing work, energy and dedication. Our schools – and our students – are the ones who benefit.
WEA represents so many kinds of “teachers,” those with classrooms and those without. Regardless of your position, I want all of you to know how much we appreciate you:
- Teachers
- Librarians and Media Specialists
- Counselors, Psychologists and Social Workers
- Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists
- School nurses
- Higher education faculty
- And all school staff
As we continue to fight for our students and our profession, I am especially honored to have you as part of the WEA family. This is a crazy busy time of year, but do take a minute to celebrate you and your work today, this week, and every day.
