#ThankATeacher during Teacher Appreciation Week
The NEA and National PTA are teaming up to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2-6) and national Teacher Day on May 3. Join in by spreading the love for all the amazing teachers in your life.
Use the hashtag #ThankATeacher and share one of the following on social media:
- A picture of yourself with your favorite teacher, past or present
- A picture of your child with his or her teacher
- A picture of yourself holding a piece of paper with a simple message saying Thank You to a teacher and why you’re thanking him or her
You can also download this template to give a teacher a good old fashioned thank you note. More than ever our communities need to hear positive stories about the great work teachers do every day. And those same teachers are in need of a much deserved thank you.
