Register today for the WEA Bargaining and Beyond Conference
The Bargaining and Beyond Conference is an opportunity for members to connect with their union to build power. This year's conference has opportunities for all, whether you're an elected leader, on the bargaining team, or a rank-and-file member. Building a strong local means engaging everyone, so grab a fellow WEA member and sign up today!
Through bargaining, organizing, and advocacy we will help you find ways to lift your collective voice and give you tools to tackle the challenges you face in your schools and classrooms every day. All of our courses will be focused on building strength in your local association and engaging your fellow members.
Conference participants can choose one of two different tracks:
The Skills Track is similar to traditional bargaining conferences from the past, giving you two days focused on gaining and fine tuning your advocacy, bargaining, and organizing skills.
The Current Issues Track provides the opportunity to dive into a focused topic for 2.5 hours. You can select four classes over the two days to fine tune your skills. You will explore ways that you can organize and bargain around that specific issue and empower your local to take action.
