Important WEA priorities remain alive in the state Capitol.

Friday, Feb. 22, was the deadline for policy bills to pass out of their original committees in the state House and Senate.

Friday, March 1, is the deadline for bills to pass out of their respective fiscal committees (Senate Ways and Means and House Appropriations and House Finance).

Bills related to the budget can remain alive throughout the session, which is scheduled to end April 28. Many of WEA's 2019 legislative priorities are related to the budget.
