Vote for Pro-Education Candidates in August 2 Primary

We know that there is strength in numbers. WEA is now 90,000 strong. Our voice is critical in elections like we are facing this year, when McCleary and education funding decisions hang in the balance. WEA, through WEA PAC, endorses pro-public education, pro-labor candidates who work to champion students, schools and educators.  

It is critical for WEA members to vote in the August 2 primary, to ensure strong public education advocates advance to the general election. You can find information about candidates who WEA PAC has endorsed here.

Given that it is a presidential election year, we know most people will vote. Please fill out your entire ballot. Legislators and congressional representatives are more involved in decisions that affect educators and we must make sure our voices, and our votes, are heard in both the primary election on August 2 and the general election on November 8.
