Building Relationships with Students 9/21/23

This event is for members of the Spokane Education Association. The Pathway to Transformative Education: Connecting Relationships with Our Students," facilitated by Dr. Scott Finnie, a faculty member of Eastern Washington University for the past 30 years. By means of small group activities and collective feedback sessions, we will go on a team journey to explore such themes as cultural humility, servant leadership, intercultural skill sets, unconscious bias and creating a culturally responsive classroom all along the lines of day-to-day practice and "hands on" interaction for mutual learning and enhancement of personal awareness to improve student outcome.
