New Discipline Rules-Moving Away from Exclusionary Practice

Research has identified promising practices that promote equitable student discipline systems. When educators build systems of prevention and intervention, better outcomes for students can be achieved. Participants will understand the rationale for the 2018 changes in Washington’s student discipline rules and the key changes made.
