Participants of this course will learn the guidelines on what behavior and interactions with students are acceptable, and what behaviors could lead to professional discipline.
The rules that apply to relations between educators and their students are not clearly defined within the law. While prohibitions against sexual and physical abuse are obvious and well understood, the boundary for other interaction is not as clearly defined and therefore not as apparent to educators.
